So the British Red Cross contacted me on Wednesday 15th Jan via email and were unable to sponsor me, as their sponsorship money goes to their own initiatives or staff/volunteer development required for their British Red Cross role.
They were complimentary with regards to the letter I'd written them and said it was clear and well thought through, so that was some nice feedback.
I replied to their email thanking them for their time and feedback.
