The next response was from the LATA Foundation on the 9th December 2013.
There website is for charitable giving throughout Latin America so I thought they would be a relevant organisation to contact.
Unfortunately my trip does not fulfil some of their criteria.
"We tend to work with registered charities and NGOs in Latin America and our aim is to work with those
connected in some way to tourism."
I thought out of all the organisations I'd contacted, LATA Foundation were the most relevant but they were unable to support me but wished me all the best for my trip.
I emailed my appreciation for the response to my letter.
